The University of Aruba is a young, dynamic and growing university that was founded in 1988 and now consists of four faculties, namely the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Accounting, Finance & Marketing, the Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management Studies and the Faculty of Arts and Science. Our primary activity is to provide high quality education.
Alongside our bachelor and master programs, as of 2016 we offer among others the Academic Foundation Year (AFY) program. The AFY aims to serve as a bridge between high school and university, by equipping the students with the essential competencies and skills to have a better transition into higher education. This position is for an appointment of 40 hours per week and for a salary in accordance with the remuneration scheme of the University of Aruba. The appointment is for a contract period of one (1) to three (3) years with the possibility of a contract extension based on a good performance evaluation and unchanged organization conditions. Part of our secondary employment conditions include 30 vacation days, 13 ATV days, a vacation allowance, pension plan, additional health insurance and opportunities for personal and professional development.
